The first Al-Baraka
date palm plantation was established in 1989 in Jordan. During the first
seasons, the palms produced an exceptional fruit, and the dates received
critical acclaim both nationally and internationally for their rich, intense
taste and high quality. Due to this positive response, Al-Baraka Farms has
grown into six plantations, one packing house, and 21500 palm date trees on a
total of 530 acres. Today, Al-Baraka Farms produces about 700 tons of dates per
year, with an expected future capacity of 3400 tons.

Our Philosophy
It’s all about quality and taste. We are committed to only using the best raw
materials, lands, agricultural engineers and packaging. There is no other way
to get that quality of flavour and presentation in the dates.
We grow our dates exclusively in the Jordan Valley, where the cool nights and
sunny days create an excellent growing season. Here, the fruit ripens slowly
and evenly, developing a sweet taste in all stages – rotob, khalal and dried.
Our Quality
As private farms, we oversee the harvesting, processing, packaging and shipping
of the dates, quality is controlled at every step. Our agricultural team keeps
each plantation separate, in order to control and record the different
movements from each farm.
